This clock made of flowers is located in a garden at the feet of Castillo hill, in front of the spa of Caleta Abarca. Its origins go back to year 1962, as part of the plan for embellishing the city due to the designation of the city as one of the venues for the Football World Cup that year.

Its mechanism, originally Swiss, was damaged because of vandalism in August 2013 and, in September of that year, it was fixed and the mechanism was changed for a GPS controlled one, of Mexican construction. A seasonal changing sound system with bells and melodies was added as well.
